Sydney Construction Training School offers five (5) separate mobile crane programs. CN - Non-slewing mobile crane (greater than 3 tonne capacity), C2- Slewing mobile crane (up to 20 tonnes), C6 - Slewing mobile crane (up to 60 tonnes), C1 - Slewing mobile crane (up to 100 tonnes) and CO- Slewing mobile crane (over 100 tonnes).

The mobile crane programs are designed for participants to obtain a mobile crane licence by gaining the necessary knowledge and skills to safely operate a mobile crane that incorporates a boom or jib, which includes articulated type mobile cranes and locomotive cranes, but does not include vehicle tow trucks, as prescribed by the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work.

On completion of the mobile crane training program, participants will be able to effectively communicate and work safely with others in the work area, risk assessment and management procedures, mathematical procedures for estimation of loads, plan the work, conduct routine checks, set up mobile crane, transfer loads, shut down and secure the crane. Upon successful completion of this program you will receive a Statement of Attainment for the mobile crane program you have completed and a Licence to operate the machine which is issued by SafeWork NSW.
