This program is designed for participants to gain the necessary skills to operate a slewing mobile crane (over 100 tonnes) for licencing purposes. It encompasses the requirement for non-slewing mobile crane licence, the vehicle loading crane licence, the 20 tonne mobile crane licence, the 60 tonne mobile crane licence and the up to 100 tonne mobile crane licence as prescribed by the National Standard for Licencing Persons Performing High Risk Work.
On completion of this program participants will be able to effectively communicate and work safely with others in the work area, risk assessment and management procedures, plan the cranes work, conduct routine checks of the crane, positioning and setting up the crane, transfer loads and shut down and secure the crane.
As a Registered Training Organisation we would prefer that all participants enrolled in this program already have their Dogging licence as the knowledge is significantly helpful in obtaining your CO mobile crane licence but it is not mandatory.
