This course is designed for participants to gain the necessary skills to operate a slewing mobile crane (up to 60 tonnes) for licensing purposes. It encompasses the requirement for non-slewing mobile crane licence, the vehicle loading crane licence, and the up to 20 tonne mobile crane licence as prescribed by the National Standard for Licencing Persons Performing High Risk Work.
On completion of this program participants will be able to effectively communicate and work safely with other in the work area, risk management procedures, mathematical procedures for estimation of loads, plan the cranes work, conduct routine checks, postioning and setting up the crane, transfer loads, and shut down and secure the crane.
As a Registered Training Organisation we would prefer that all participants enrolled in this program already have their Dogging licence as the knowledge is significantly helpful in obtaining your C6 mobile crane licence but it is not mandatory.
