TOWER CRANE [CPCCLTC4001A]
Change Your Career
"Doing what you like is freedom. Liking what you do is happiness." -Author Unknown
This course is designed for participants to gain the necessary skills to operate a jib or boom/jib crane mounted on a tower structure, demountable or permanent, including both horizontal and luffing jib types. This program does not cover self-erecting tower cranes. This program meets the SafeWork NSW prescribed needs for the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work.
On completion of this program participants will be able to effectively communicate and work safely with others in the work area, risk assessment and management procedures, plan the cranes work, conduct routine checks of the crane, positioning and setting up the crane, transfer loads and shut down and secure the crane.
As a Registered Training Organisation we would prefer that all participants enroled in this program already have their Dogging licence as the knowledge is significantly helpful in obtaining your Tower Crane licence but it is not mandatory.
